Simon Burrell is Editor-in-Chief of Our Man On The Ground Travel and Lifestyle Magazine and Our Man Behind The Wheel motoring magazine, based in London and has worked in the hospitality industry for the last seven years.
He spent just over 12 years at Newsweek Magazine travelling around the world, and decided to take his knowledge and experience to create a travel and lifestyle media company focussing on luxury travel for the discerning traveller, but from the locals’ point of view. Simon has built up a team of experienced professional journalists and contributors around the world who are his ‘men and women on the ground’.
As well as being a member of The British Guild of Travel Writers and The International Travel Writers Alliance, Simon has a great deal of digital experience having managed social media accounts for clients and builds his own websites. But his real passion is being creative and believes that quality journalism needs to be complimented with quality photography.
