If you headed over to Shoreditch on 25th January, you would have found The Jones Family Project offering a special 3-course Burns Night meal for £35 or if you want to add a cocktail on arrival along with two paired whiskies, it’s was an extra £15. The evening began with Mini Haggis Scotch Eggs with oxtail mayonnaise and winter leaves followed by a delicious Venison Wellington served with salted baked celeriac, neep purée and black truffles, and paired with Glenlive Nadurra. Diners then rounded off their meals with a choice of either a naughty but nice Layered Cranachan, pictured here, made with berries, shortbread, whisky cream, toasted almonds and oats, paired with a Glenlivet Founders Reserve or they could have opted for the Isle of Mull Cheddar served with homemade chutney and oat cakes, paired with a 12-year-old Aberlour.
